Carbon Labyrinths

Carbon Labyrinths
Concept and method of functioning
Carbon Labyrinths are used as sealing elements to prevent the medium being pumped escaping to the atmosphere. Carbon Labyrinths posses all the advantageous properties of carbon and graphite materials such as chemical resistance, good sliding and dry run properties, high dimensional stability and resistance to fatigue failure.
Applications
Carbon Labyrinths are primarily used to seal off the medium area in process gas compressors, screw compressors and piston type blowers.
They are used in all area of industry, in heat pumps and in process cooling.
